Enniskerry FC, Message to Club members regarding a return to football (Update)

16 June 2020

Greetings members and friends of Enniskerry FC. We hope you are all keeping safe and well!

The club has put in place the relevant Return to Training protocols required by the FAI to allow us back to training. To begin with, we are putting on two training sessions this Saturday.  Coaches for those teams will be in touch with parents and players to arrange and coaches of other teams in the club will be invited to attend to familiarise themselves with the protocols. These trial training sessions will give the coaches and the Compliance Officers a chance to see the protocols at work and all going well we will be able to give the go ahead for other teams to start training next week. Training sessions will  be coordinated by our Girls Secretary (Mags O’Grady) and our Boys Secretary (Wayne Kelly).

As previously mentioned we will need everyone attending to be familiar with the safe return to football protocols as detailed in https://www.fai.ie/domestic/news/fai-safer-return-to-training

Coaches will be in touch with parents regarding these protocols and in the meantime we would be grateful if you could familiarise yourself with the following summary of requirements:

  • Parent/Player Compliance
    • Must be familiar with Return Protocols (FAI.ie)
    • Must bring own hand sanitiser
    • Must arrive in training gear
    • Parent must not stay at training venue/pitch
    • Parent & Player must be feeling well, no temp & not travelled abroad in last 14 days
    • Personal items labelled & not shared (water bottles etc)
    • Cover Mouth & Nose if Coughing or Sneezing

Coaches have not forgotten that training should be fun but please help us keep everyone safe by complying with these requirements!
